I was reared to
beware of men's words but to watch their actions. If Donald Trump were a
woman perhaps his words would be uncouth enough to ignore. Instead,
he is a man who took a million borrowed dollars and with good business sense
and hard work turned it into multiple billions. He didn't do
that face-booking about politics. Last I
heard, he spent $45 million of his own cash to run for the
office of the President of the United States.
Looking at his actions (not his words) I see he is willing to put his money where his mouth is: perhaps to be used by We the People to tear down governmental junk so we can rebuild what We want.

I remember talking
with a man years ago who was getting involved in the political process. He knew
many who were busy minding their own business never dreaming progressive
idealism was creeping into law systems in the quiet of the night while they slept unaware in their beds. He realized he
needed to participate actively by being informed AND informing others.
His words stuck with me. I now see these two
facets - being informed and informing - as two essential aspects to upholding our
Constitutional rights. This blog is -in part- a way I can
contribute by informing. I appreciate those who are willing to step up in
small and large ways to make the changes needed to uphold our liberties and I
respect the tenacity and zeal of those who speak up. I am often reminded of Davy Crockett who stepped up in spite of himself. His country needed him. May there be many more like him who will serve while they tend to other responsibilities.

Our Constitution was
founded with the understanding that We the People would be informed. Sadly, it's contents and importance has been overlooked for many generations of Americans. In order to help us inform ourselves, we'll focus on several ways you can learn more.

Hillsdale
College, known for pursing truth and
defending liberty since 1844 and cranking out Constitutional lawyers is offering a free online course right now called
"Constitution 101."
Mark and Jill Baker at Baker's Green Acres are committed to educating and informing people not only of the importance of having nourishing food available but also to KNOW our Constitution and UNDERSTAND how to apply it in our everyday lives. For example, we the people should NOT need permission to drink milk straight from a neighbor's cow or do business with those who produce exceptionally nourishing foods in local areas. The Baker's work with land, food, technology and law and embody the essence of what makes our nation great. They are even hosting how to videos for those looking to produce food for their own families. Growing our own food and tending our own herds should not be governed by laws which hinder this!!

"The American Founders wrote a Constitution that established a government limited in size and scope, whose central purpose was to secure the natural rights of all Americans. By contrast, early Progressives rejected the notion of fixed limits on government, and their political descendants continue today to seek an ever-larger role for the federal bureaucracy in American life. In light of this fundamental and ongoing disagreement over the purpose of government, this course will consider contemporary public policy issues from a constitutional viewpoint." Hillsdale College
While some of us don't like to think about it, secular progressives ignore, bypass
and disregard the Constitution, which is what guarantees our liberties from
tyrants and governmental rule. Chaos is the soil in which they can offer
tyrannical leadership. We do not need them to decide for us. WE DECIDE which
way we want our nation to go.
We must protect the U.S.
Constitution from anyone who seeks to make it impotent. It is like the
seed for all our days and generations as Americans. Sadly, since at least the 1950's it has not been taught in government (aka "public") schools. We must be informed. The government is not to have power over us, rather we hire individuals to ensure our liberties are upheld as defined in the Constitution and founding documents.
"Those who deny freedom to others deserve it not for themselves." ~Abraham Lincoln
I was encouraged by THIS
ARTICLE posted on Dr.
Ben Carson's face book page highlighting a Washington D.C. Judge's
decision to uphold the 2nd amendment. Bravo!! May his tribe
increase across our great land!
For those of you who like to really dig in, I recommend the video below for an introduction to the U.S. Constitution.
Too, we need to be concerned with ensuring the Supreme Court seat nominations which
will likely open in the next 5 years are votes for men and women who will
uphold the Constitution!!!
More coming soon. Stay tuned. :)
